What is SEO?
SEO is the commonly used acronym for Search Engine Optimization. Unfortunately, that really doesn't explain what it is.
SEO Definition
Whatcom Web simply defines SEO as:
The process of modifying and improving the content, construction and design of a web site and it's pages in order to increase the amount of targeted traffic the site receives from internet search engines.

It is important that any provider of SEO services is comfortable with the search methods and algorithms of the major internet search engines.
